Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

What you can and cannot raise funds for on FightFund. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Our standard

FightFund Inc. is built to be "fast for donors, strict for fundraisers, and controlled before payout." This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes campaigns and conduct that are not allowed on FightFund. It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP can result in content removal, campaign suspension, frozen or reversed funds, and account termination.

2. Prohibited campaigns

You may not create a campaign for, or use funds toward, any of the following:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or raising money for a purpose or beneficiary you are not authorized to represent.
  • Illegal activity, or the promotion of illegal activity, under U.S. federal or state law.
  • Controlled substances, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, or vaping products.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, or accessories.
  • Gambling, lotteries, sweepstakes, raffles, games of chance, or "investment"/return-promising schemes.
  • Hate, harassment, terrorism, violence, or the funding of hate groups or individuals promoting them.
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material, or funds for sexual services.
  • Bail, or campaigns that could interfere with an ongoing legal proceeding in violation of law.
  • Payments to sanctioned persons or countries, money laundering, or terrorist financing.
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or debt-relief/credit-repair schemes.
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others.
  • Anything prohibited by our payment processor (Stripe) or by applicable law.

3. Prohibited conduct

When using FightFund, you may not:

  • Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information during sign-up, verification, or campaign creation.
  • Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to evade review, identity verification (KYC), or payout controls.
  • Use bots, scraping, or automated means to interact with the platform, or attempt to disrupt or breach its security.
  • Use stolen payment methods or engage in self-donation, card testing, or other payment abuse.
  • Harass donors, beneficiaries, staff, or other users.

4. Organizer obligations

Organizers must use funds only as described, deliver funds promptly to the stated beneficiary where raising on someone else's behalf, respond to reasonable donor and FightFund requests for information, and keep their campaign accurate as circumstances change.

5. Reporting and enforcement

Anyone can report a campaign through the "Report" tools on the platform. Our Trust & Safety team reviews reports and may remove content, pause or remove campaigns, hold or reverse funds, and suspend or terminate accounts. Because payouts are controlled and reviewed before release, we can act before funds leave the platform. We may also report unlawful activity to law enforcement.

6. Contact

Questions about this policy, or want to report a concern? Email help@fightfund.com or use the Report tools on any campaign.
